This is the first of the Killarney paintings that I have completed since returning from my trip in September.  I have a number of sketches that were created on site during the trip, and look forward to creating larger versions like this one.

In just under a week I head off on an adventure to Killarney Provincial Park in Ontario.   Three other women artists and I will be canoeing, portaging, camping and painting in one of the most beautiful, pristine areas in the province.  It has been a year since our last trip, and I have been feasting on the resource materials (photos and studies) that I brought home last time.  This painting is one of those paintings inspired by my time there.
