Okay, Jennifer...I'm fairly new to your blog. Am SO enjoying your style and color. Can you talk a little about your brand of acrylics. Do you use Open? Are you using hard or soft body? I would guess from the texture that these are not "fluid acrylics". Any other hints for us beginner acrylic wanna bees?
Thanks for your questions Ginny. I currently use Golden Heavy Body Acrylics for the majority of my paintings, though I am beginning to experiment wit Tri-Art and Stevenson paints (both Canadian companies). You can check out my earlier blog post (April 16, 2009) for a more detailed expanation of my painting process. Have fun painting!
I am an artist working in acrylic paint on canvas. Having lived in a variety of locations in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Colorado and Ontario, I have been constantly surrounded by amazing, diverse landscapes. It is these views that I take my inspiration from when painting. This blog provides an outlet to show some of my work as it is being created. I am currenty having a grand old time painting full time, living with my husband, son and one stinky dog in Ontario.

Lovely work, I really like your style.
I love the sky and barn, you do them both so well!
