This is the piece that I created during the Art Tour on the May long weekend. It was fun to paint in front of an audience, though at moments a bit disconcerting (especially those times when you are not sure what to do next!). I took advantage of the large studio space at the Loft Gallery, and painted a larger canvas size than I could at home.

Love the yellows in the background and the lead-in with the warm colors.

Love the dappled light on the ground, the leaves & rocks. Yes, I could rest here awhile & just look around. Nice work!
