I had fun painting this one. Sometimes I really struggle with skies - all of that loose open space.
It is a rainy miserable day here today. Perfect for painting!

Having lived in a variety of locations in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Colorado and Ontario, I have been constantly surrounded by amazing, diverse landscapes. It is these views that I take my inspiration from when painting. This blog provides an outlet to show some of my work as it is being created. I am currenty having a grand old time painting full time, living with my husband, son and one stinky dog in Ontario.

Jenn, You have been busy. I love the backroads series. You have such a way with color. I would love to pursue abstracts this winter. I feel like my abstracts just look like a mess of paint. Keep up the good work.
