Flax Field

When the flax crops in the area go into bloom, it is a glorious sight: rippling blue fields and rolling hills. Lovely!

Okay, Jennifer...I'm fairly new to your blog. Am SO enjoying your style and color. Can you talk a little about your brand of acrylics. Do you use Open? Are you using hard or soft body? I would guess from the texture that these are not "fluid acrylics". Any other hints for us beginner acrylic wanna bees?

Thanks for your questions Ginny. I currently use Golden Heavy Body Acrylics for the majority of my paintings, though I am beginning to experiment wit Tri-Art and Stevenson paints (both Canadian companies).
