Trillium Trail

24" x 20"
Acrylic on Canvas
SOLD

Spring in Ontario is typically marked by the arrival of the trillium in the woods.  It is amazing to see the visual blankets of this beautiful white (and pink and burgundy) flowers, against the bright greens of the forest floor.  I just found out that it is illegal to pick these flowers.  Good thing I haven't done that (I think??).

it's weird really, to think that a flower can't be picked! yikes!

but at least we can still paint them, right! lol

i love going out into nature and copying it, translating it into my own doodles and works of art!
