Metcalfe Rocks

36"x36" acrylic on canvas
SOLD
This is the first of five paintings that I have in the Loft Gallery's Bruce Trail/Escarpment Show, opening July 18th. The painting is of Metcalfe Rock, part of the Niagara Escarpment. It is a great local trail hiking area, with some wicked rock climbing and caving.

Wow... I don't know if I would have the patience as you did to put all those beautiful detail on those gorgeous rocks AND the shadows. Love this Jennifer...

Wow! This painting rocks!!! OK...pun.... well, it really is a nice painting. I love the way you painted the light, just brushstrokes which are bold and just right. I can imagine walking along the path.

I'm impressed with how you can get such action and depth with this cubic style. Looks just like a climb from a recent Colorado trip.
