Here is another one of these cute little old houses in our town. I was intrigued by the shadows cast on the side of the house and the lawn.

It is these views that I take my inspiration from when painting. This blog provides an outlet to show some of my work as it is being created. I am currenty having a grand old time painting full time, living with my husband, son and one stinky dog in Ontario.

Jennifer, this is lovely! I love your style, the way you reflect the rugged old house with your broken pieces of brushstrokes. Do you work with black gesso? It is amazing. Well done!
