Windswept

24" x 36" acrylic on canvas
SOLD
Hope everyone had a great Easter. I know I did. Lots of time spent with the family, and puttering around the yard outside. I am ready for spring!
You can see that by the colours I got into on this painting.

woo hoo! I want to learn how to paint clouds like you! I've always loved the way cloud swoop and disappear in the horizon.

Beautiful sky, Jennifer. Love the drama, and like the shadowed pond leading in.

This is lovely, Jennifer. I love the contrast of the energy of the sky in an otherwise quiet scene. The colors are beautiful.

Your work is really quite original! Haven't seen anyone else who paints quite like you do. I'm guessing you work on a dark toned canvas? Love the house portraits in particular.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

R Gariott - yes I do work on canvas with an initial layer of black gesso. I am going to post the method in which I work (with photos to show) soon!
