Spring Impression

I sometimes wonder if my infatuation with painting buildings stems from the fact that I always wanted to become an architect. I took a half a year of engineering to try to pursue this route, but soon found out that I was much more of a people person, and went into marketing instead (which finally lead me to painting). I've always wondered what would have happened if I had chosen the path of architect...

Another beautiful painting! I really enjoy the paintings of the barns, but the houses are my favorite. They remind me of an old late Victorian/Colonial Revival we use to live in. Those old homes have so much character. Your paintings really reflect that. I wonder if had you been an architect, would your work have reflected the same delicious color and harmony that your paintings do? I bet so.

Yes, I agree with Manon and Trish. You would have been a wonderful architect but I don't think your whole creative soul would have been satisfied within its confines.

Whenever I see you have new work in my Blogger Dashboard, I get all excited because I love your work!

Funny how our paths redirect along the way. Your paintings are so beautiful, and your vision so unique--I think you would have been an amazing architect as well.

You do beautiful building paintings. I'm grateful to whatever brought you to this point because my eyes get to see your wonderful paintings because of it!
