Beaver Valley Spring

36"x72" diptych
Acrylic on Canvas
SOLD

Spring is here, and I am really enjoying painting these wide open valley shots.  I am sure I will be doing more.  I have a "Multiples" show coming up at the Loft Gallery - all painting are diptychs, triptychs etc, so I will be honing my skills for that one.  Still trying to rig up a system where I can paint these on my average sized easel.  I don't have the luxury of wall or floor space to paint from.  C- clamps seem to be my solution and saving grace!

I'm off to Whistler and Vancouver for a week of fun with two of my best girlfriends.  I hear the skiing conditions are fantastic right now, and some beers on the patio sounds good too!

Top of Old Baldy

30"x40"
Acrylic on Canvas

A great place to hike in the spring, summer and fall, Old Baldy looks over the Beaver Valley and town of Kimberley. I asked my husband go out on the ledge to photograph this one!

Paths We Follow

24"x20"
Acrylic on Canvas
SOLD

It is a gorgeous, sunny Easter weekend here. I have been out puttering in the yard a lot.   The nasty jobs are done (raking the remaining leaves, cleaning out the flowerbeds, emptying out the birdhouses) - just waiting for the daffodils to start blooming (any day now).  Happy Easter everyone!

Baldy and the Barn Study

12"x12"
Acrylic on Canvas

SOLD

This outcropping of rock, named Old Baldy by some, overlooks the town of Kimberley, here in Ontario.  I tried painting this one on a larger scale, and failed miserably.  Thought I would give it a shot again with a smaller canvas.
